About Carol Newsom
Artistic Excellence Unleashed
Carol grew up in Texas but moved away in when she married Tom Newsom, also an illustrator, and went to California to study art. She graduated from Art Center College of Design with a degree in Illustration.
Her career has included illustrating over 150 books for publishers in the US as well as the UK, Greece, Korea and others. In recent years she has become an award winning artist with her gallery art and plein air painting.
